FOOTBALL, SNOW, and THE WINTER REAL ESTATE SEASON

Wow, was the Cowboys-Packers game crazy or what????  Jason Garrett can run an offense, but not so sure he can run a team (Cowboys coach was formerly the Offensive Coordinator).

…..and in the meantime….went home to Milwaukee to see my family. The high on Thursday was 11 degrees! It. Was. Cold. The homes in Milwaukee are well insulated, far superior to Sacramento homes, ’cause we just don’t need it–so even if I have to “eat crow” on my Cowboys loss, the sun is shining and we are headed to a gorgeous high temp of 65 today. Take that Cheeseheads!!

The winter season of real estate in Sactown, still seeing fast paced sales in some areas. Though I’ve written of a slow down of sorts–some areas leaning more in favor of home buyers–there are still some exasperatingly fast sales! Showed a nice home in College Greens last Saturday–on the market one week. It was in contract by Monday afternoon.  Showed a super Condo in Citrus Heights 10 days ago–it was on the market 18 days before it was in contract (not multiple offers, cash, full price). That’s just a couple of examples.

Lessons learned from this week? Jason Garrett (sadly, ’cause I do like him), Tony Romo and Jerry Jones need to go! Bring extra layers of clothing if you’re going to Milwaukee, and if you’re a Sacramento home buyer–we still need to act quickly if the home is in superior shape.  If you’re a home seller–price it right, and let me market it–it will get sold!
